Needs a wep key or SSID for Netgear

There are ways on how to access and get your netgear router's wep key and SSID. Important is, your other computer or the main computer is connected to the Internet. We are having troubles connecting to the Internet thru wireless if the router is secured. and most of the times, when the router is no longer in warranty, the router manufacturer no longer supports us when we call. For a netgear router, lots of ways to access the GUI or the ip address of it.

Access the ip address of the computer where the router is wired or wireless connected to the netgear by simply accessing the command prompt or simply type in www.routerlogin.com in the address bar of Internet explorer

access the command prompt

In win vista, type cmd in start search then right click the cmd that appears on top then left click administrator then hit continue to see the black box which is the command prompt.

when you already have the command prompt, pls type ipconfig then press enter key pls look for the ip address and copy that in the address bar of the Internet explorer then you will get this window

usually if you havent personalized this it would be on default username as admin and password is password. You can check the default access website at the bottom of the router near mac or SN wherein it says username and password too.
